We were so lucky that Nanna chose to spend her birthday with us this year! The excitement for the day was ordering pizza (not as good as the traditional Happy Joes, but a close second) and eating green-frosting cupcakes. Luke and II made a cake run to pick up Nanna's surprise. When II told Luke that Nanna didn't really care for cake, Luke replied with an indignant, "II, are you teasing me???" He couldn't imagine that a person would ever have a "take-it-or-leave-it" relationship with cake! Judging from Riley's face, neither could she.
