Today marked Luke's first field trip as a Kindergartener. All of the K classes went to an apple orchard in Lakeville. Luke came home with 4 apples and some new knowledge about how to pick an apple (twist it, don't pull it). He also shared that if you cut a cross-section of the apple (okay, he didn't use the words 'cross-section' but I knew that's what he meant.), it would look like a star. Sounds like a pretty educational trip to me!
Yummy! Did they tell you the name of the variety of apples you picked? They look very red and juicy! Have you ever heard the saying "An apple a day, keeps the doctor away."
