Luke and Riley disappeared and when it got too quiet, Dan and I sneaked upstairs to see what these 2 were up to. Imagine our delight to find Luke and Riley sitting together reading Pinkalicious. It's fun to see Luke in the emergent stage of reading. It reminds me of "reading" my favorite book, The Big Tidy Up, as a kid. His confidence is certainly growing and it's fun to see him channeling his interest in reading into an activity that keeps both him and his sister out of trouble!
