Halloween Fun!

The kids donned their Halloween costumes for the Johnson's Annual Pumpkin Carving Party on Saturday.  It was fun to spend time in their temporary home in the "shouse" while their new home is under construction.  The kids almost outnumbered the adults at the party this year, a real switch from 7-8 years ago!  We had a fun time eating, playing, touring the new house, visiting with good friends and carving pumpkins (well, in our family carving falls solely on the shoulders of Dan and the kids).

This year, Luke is sporting a vampire costume.  Riley is a garden gnome.  Thanks to Nanna for making her a new hat that actually fits!

I'm so glad you've broken the dread of Halloween that I could have passed on to you. The costumes are quite a step up from our last minute "no buy" costumes and the carving is much more artistic. What a nice tradition you have established with Lori and Curtis' annual gathering.
