Sioux Falls, SD... swim, dance, swim, dance, swim

We had a fantastic weekend in Sioux Falls (sounds weird, doesn't it?) where we celebrated the wedding of our cousin, Krista. All the McHugh clan was there with a couple of exceptions. We've been talking to Luke about the things he would do this weekend in an attempt to prepare him for the fun. As soon as we got to the hotel he was asking to go swimming. Daddy obliged and Mommy took photos. All in all, Luke went swimming 3 times this weekend.

(Check out the movie!)

We ended that night reacquainting with Maggie (Luke's second cousin). Two hours past bedtime, Luke finally showed signs of exhaustion. It would prove to be good training for the following night at the wedding dance!

More swimming the next morning...

Then came the wedding!!!

Luke and Maggie could hardly wait to hit the dance floor (and started even before the wedding party arrived at the reception!) We took drink breaks (Luke did 6 shots... of punch), and forced Luke to sit for a few minutes to catch his breath. You've got to watch the dance video!

Wow! Watching that video was surreal! It was like watching Karla dance!!! Is dancing a genetics thing?

You're hilarious, Tanya... OF COURSE dancing skills are genetic. But you've got it all wrong, he inherited those moves from his DADDY! :)
