Luke's been good and quite playful at school this week despite his cold/teething. He's been a monster at home... clearly we've hit the stage where he discoveres the fine art of manipulating Mommy and Daddy! It's actually pretty funny to watch him process how his actions affect our behavior. He can cry deeply, from his belly, like he's experiencing the most intolerable pain known to man. Then when he gets the strawberry cheerio instead of just plain old cheerio, he immediately stops and smiles up at us. Sometimes he even laughs a little. Tricky little boy! Grandpa Russ just laughed when Mommy told him about Luke's intelligence... he said he used to know a little girl just like Luke... I had to hang up the phone before he could tell me who she was.
