It is tradition for Daddy to get up with the kids on Saturday and Sunday morning. There are several reasons... Dad is an early riser by nature. Dad likes to watch cartoons. Dad likes to make mom happy. :) I also suspect that Dad realizes that morning is usually a really fun time with the kids. After a night of sleep, every one's brain is firing at full speed and you can have some pretty interesting conversations. Mom is typically up between 7:30 and 8:00 on these mornings (thanks to my wake-up fairies). On this particular morning, I woke up and smelled the delicious aroma of blueberry muffins. BONUS!! Luke and Riley were all smiles as they licked out the batter bowl! Thanks, Daddy!
