Riley's first shower!
We've been trying for a while to get Riley to stand in the shower. It seems that whenever she'd shower with one of us, she wanted to be held. She loved the water, but insisted on feeling it from the comfort of Mom or Dad's arms (usually Dad's!). That's fine, until you try to hold the 26-pound bundle for any length of time. Add soap to the mix, and it gets exponentially more difficult. Well, while Dan was going to the bathroom, Riley walked into the shower stall. He asked, "Do you want to take a shower?" and Riley answered, "Yes". So, the water was turned on, her clothes were taken off and in she went. 20 minutes later, we finally had to end her fun. It seems as though our independent little raisin finally decided the shower was the place for her (as long as she could do it herself)!!

Glad I get to see how much she enjoys the shower. I think from my experience, I can say she has outgrown the duckie bathtub. The shower eliminates her drinking the bath water from any toy that holds water also.
