Amazing, amazing summer weekend... oh wait, it was St. Patty's Day weekend. The leprechauns were playing some silly tricks on us... 80 degree days?? Unbelievable. Daddy went to Duluth for a volleyball tournament and we hung out at home. Saturday was spent with the Bisbees at the zoo (Luke dressed himself in a green shirt and a big green bow tie. He got some crazy looks from both the people and animals!). They joined us back at our house and the kids played some more at the park. Sunday was another day of just enjoying every moment. We got wrapped up in making banana bread muffins and missed church. After cleaning up (yes, baking got a little messy this morning), we zipped off to Kohl's to find bargains. Our main mission was to find summer sandals and we managed to snag some at a great price. By the time we got home, Daddy was back. He was dead tired, but there was no rest for the weary. We managed to get in on a neighborhood tree trimming extravaganza on Friday afternoon and all of the branches awaited Dan when he got home. The chipper had been rented and it was a race against the clock to plow through the branches in our neighbor's and our yard. Dan is as tired as I've ever seen him... and after a maximum dosage of ibuprofen, he was off to bed around 8:00. Hope he can get out of bed tomorrow.
While he worked, the kids and I went to Target so Luke could peruse the dollar section. Nanna and II sent some money in a St. Patty's Day card and he was very deliberate when choosing a new light-up Spiderman yo-yo. He was so excited! Riley picked up a plastic egg full of leaping bunnies. Bed time was a welcome event for everyone after such an eventful weekend... which is where I'm headed right now!

What fun pictures. Luke and Riley... loving brother and sister.
It's so hard to believe that Riley is only 2 1/2 yrs.old. She seems so much older in the pictures. She's very photogenic! Darling shots! Did Luke get a haircut?
