Who's the big girl??

Riley had her 15-month appointment on Friday afternoon (just a couple days shy of her true 15 month birthday). She was quite animated during our visit and charmed Dr. Morkeberg from the minute he entered the room. He was very pleased with her demeanor and her growth. She also performed a few tricks. Our favorite has been titled the "Hide the book, find the book, shock the doctor" trick. It was a priceless moment. After playing hide the book, find the book several times, she declared "I did it" clear enough for everyone to hear. Dr. Morkeberg's jaw dropped, he looked at us and told us, "She said 'I did it'. That's a 3 word sentence..." then he proceeded to write this milestone in Riley's file while instructing me to write it in her baby book. Since this is Riley's baby book, it's officially been recorded for posterity.

As previously mentioned, Riley continues to make nice, consistent growth. Her stats for this appointment were:
Height- 32 1/2" (95-97%ile)
Weight- 24# 10 oz (75-90%ile)
Head- 18 1/2" (75-90%ile)

We're just so happy with the growth she's shown over the past several months. Her personality is really shining through. She's intuitive and so determined... it's so fun to watch her grow and understand. At times, I think she knows more than we do. She and her brother are quite the little team. We're just hoping they continue to use their powers for good, not evil! :)
