Nanna and II arrived for Riley's birthday weekend armed with coolers full of garden produce. The prized gift was a sack full of garden peas, the first of the season. Luke established himself as a formidable threat to his Mom's pea stash a couple years ago... looks like Riley is following in the Danielson family footsteps. She LOOOOOOOOVES peas, too!They grow some wacky carrots in North Dakota, don't they? :)

The carrots have grown tremendously since you got to sample them. Peas burned up in the heat last week. Glad Luke and Riley like vegetables. I picked some of the bachelor buttons that Luke planted at the farm and brought them home to enjoy.
