There was no rest for the weary on Day 3 of Luke's first visit to Denver. We started the morning off by sleeping in (a first for Luke!!) and a little skydancing off the patio. We enjoyed an early lunch at the Denver Aquarium... complete with a face-to-face meeting with a mermaid! Next on the agenda was a trip to Gigi's cupcake shop... except before we got there, we found Gigi's mobile cupcake van instead! Luke enjoyed the very last "Birthday Surprise" cupcake... Fate!The chance meeting with the cupcake van gave us plenty of time to get to Coors Field for the Rockies matinee game. Auntie Kim seat selection was brilliant... right along the 3rd base line IN THE SHADE! It was a scorcher that day, so sitting in the cool shade was a lifesaver! Luke got all his favorites at the game, cotton candy and a giant bowl of multi-colored snowcone ice. He enjoyed the cool treat for more than 45 minutes and left looking like a green faced, sticky monster.
