We welcomed the "big" McHugh clan to our home on Christmas Eve. We had a great afternoon of conversation and appetizers before enjoying dinner at 4:30. Everyone was here... The McHughs, Dowells, Brachts, Fitzgeralds, Meyers and Kaysers. Luckily our family is made up of fantastic cooks and bakers. No one goes home hungry after our family get-togethers! Prior to present opening, the youngest members of the family performed for their presents. The show was stolen by Liam, Joey and Riley's improvisation, despite Luke and Maggie's best attempt to organize the program. We enjoyed a show that included singing, dancing, instrument playing and a little bit of freestyle wrestling.
On a side note, Riley lasted the entire day/night without a potty accident. She has proven herself to be in complete control of her bladder. No shock that Riley is embracing the opportunity to control a situation. :) We're very proud of her!
