Luke recently experienced an exciting week of school! First, it was Luke's week to be the class "Top Banana". He got to share a book, photos and lots of toys all throughout the week. (I wasn't surprised to see that Mrs. Strowbridge sent Luke's "Cotton-Eyed Joe" pick-up truck home after only a couple of days. ha!!)Secondly, Luke celebrated Valentine's Day! He enjoyed the party and sharing Valentines with his classmates. He came home with a big heart tattoo on his cheek. It was a joy to clean off the following morning. :)
Lastly, Luke and his classmates celebrated the 100th day of school! Who knew there were so many activities to celebrate 100?? Luke brought 100 cubes to school to demonstrate how big 100 is. Dan made them at work and said the cubes were quite possibly the most expensive base 10 blocks ever made.
It was a fantastic week of celebrations!
