Now that Dan is done skiing, we signed up both Luke and Riley for swim lessons through community ed. This is Riley's first foray into the world of swimming lessons. Luke had taken an extended break from lessons but jumped back into the pool without too much hesitation. True to her personality, Riley seemingly loved the water and all of the challenges presented to her. She wasn't phased by water hitting her face or dipping her chin in the water. Luke voluntarily put his head underwater and relaxed while the instructors checked his floating skills. After carefully drying Riley's and Luke's hair to prevent a winter cold, we were welcomed outside by rain. Lots and lots of cold, winter rain. If it keeps up, we may be able to swim to Thursday's swim lessons.

Wondering how swimming went tonight. You both look like you enjoy the water. You are really lying straight as you float...I don't know about form, but looks like you are relaxed and almost asleep. And Riley, aren't you lucky to have a Daddy that is so comfortable teaching you to swim and to ski. Thanks to Mommy for taking the pictures for us to enjoy.
