We celebrated Easter in grand style this year. Mom's knee killed a trip to Fargo, so we enjoyed time with our McHugh family! It was made EXTRA special because today was Grandma and Grandpa McHugh's 45th wedding anniversary! What a milestone!!!
We attended G&G's 7:30 mass. The kids (and maybe Dan?) lasted in the pew until the Gospel, then they took seats further back in the overflow seating where they could move around more freely. Funny, the crowds aren't so huge at 7:30 am, so there was no one for them to bother.
Afterward, everyone headed to G&G's house to enjoy caramel rolls and fruit. Not long after breakfast, everyone in the house was fast asleep... perhaps there was some Nyquil in the bread dough? Dinner was fantastic. Turkey and ham with all of the fixings. We were joined by Pat & Gene. The egg hunt followed. Carley has graduated to "official egg hider" did an expert job of distributing the eggs around the backyard.
After coming home, Luke and Riley burned off their "candy buzz" by running around the outside of the house. Luke predicted he could run 10 laps with ease. He made it to 5 before needing to call it quits. It was the perfect end to a great Easter!

Good "I-spy" eyes, Luke!
Tell Riley that Nanna likes her pretty dress and how her hair glistens in the sun. Timely updates!
