Luke stayed overnight with Vaughn on Saturday. Aunt Beth, Uncle Tony, Vaughn and Luke went to a "safety festival" Saturday afternoon. The boys got to sit in a helicopter, a fire truck and a school bus. They met a Red Cross safety bear and a crash test dummy. Apparently, Luke was unafraid of these two giant creatures. Perhaps it was because there were police officers all around him? Luke refused to eat his hot dog (Mommy says, "way to go!") but really indulged in the potato chips, ice cream, cookies, popcorn, and candy.
Aunt Beth took some great pictures of Luke and Vaughn over the weekend. As the photos show, she's better at snapping pictures than wiping faces... just kidding! :)

What a timely outing. Hopefully it will keep Luke(and Vaughn)away from the emergency room. They really look interested. I'm surprised that the dummy didn't scare Luke. It's nice to see "cousins" holding hands.
