Luke's talking Elmo has provided hours of entertainment at our house. Elmo can do it all... tell jokes, give hugs, dance, sit down, stand up... if he could vacuum, he'd be pretty much the best invention ever.
Luke is a kid who likes reassurance. Maybe that's why he repeatedly knocks Elmo down. You see, when Elmo loses his balance and falls, he asks to be picked up. When Luke picks him up, he always responds, "Awww, thank you. You're my best friend" to which Luke responds with a big hug. You'd think a best friend would protect Elmo from ever falling again. Not Lukie, he just knocks Elmo over again so he can reap the rewards of Elmo's gratitude.

Luke, you look so coy. It's nice you show Elmo love in return. It's a good thing he has you to show his gratitude and kindness.
Remember Santa is watching you, even though he won't be coming for another year.
