It's no secret that Luke is hesitant to take most physical risks. He's nothing like some of the other "monkeys" that climb around the playground. That said, Luke's curiosity got the better of him when he saw Daddy walking across the downed tree at the farm.
Step 1: "Daddy, carry me!"
Step 2: "Daddy, walk behind me (holding 2 hands)."
Step 3: "Daddy, walk beside me (holding 2 hands)."
Step 4: "Daddy, hold my hand."
Step 5: "Daddy, hold my hands as I jump down."
Step 6: "Daddy, stand here and serve as moral support as I jump off this tree like it's a 3-meter spring board."
Who needs a playground when there's a downed tree around???

Luke was very brave considering the height of the tree from the ground - as tall as he was.
It was so fun seeing his expressions of accomplishment as he progressed through the stages. He will probably be walking on the bar at the school playground now, instead of putting pebbles on it.
