We attended Carley's school performance on Tuesday night. The gym was PACKED! We were lucky to have gotten there early with Grandma and Grandpa in order to snag some seats. Once the show started, we were excited to see that Carley actually sang a solo! She looked so grown up and we were all really proud of her.
The program consisted of the Kindergarteners, Second Graders, and Fourth Graders... and there were A LOT of songs. Luke did very well... with the help of some gummi bears. We turned to bribery in order to keep him quiet and still throughout the 17 song program (and that didn't even include the instrumental music songs). Every time he was quiet for a song and clapped for the performers, he'd earn a gummi bear. Daddy earned a few by being a good listener, too. It says on the package that a serving is 17 gummi bears... interesting coincidence or divine intervention?
