We woke up to the first snow of the year on Saturday! Luke couldn't wait to don his snow gear and get out into the white stuff. Who knew beach toys could double as snow toys?
On Sunday, Daddy worked on replacing the brakes on the car... oops! I mean LUKE and Daddy replaced the brakes. Mommy had to pull Luke away for a few minutes to walk over to Jacob's house (maybe it was to give Daddy some uninterrupted work time?). Riley got to model her "winter" clothes. Aunt Laurie, do you recognize the chili hat? :)

Riley finally made the scene! What a warm little bundle and she looks so content. She must be quite entertaining in her own way now. She was cooing so nicely when I was with her the end of Sept.
Luke is so multi-talented. Maybe he'll be a singing mechanic and use tools as instruments. What do you think? He sure looks as though he knows what he's doing as he holds up the tire. Maybe that's part of his act for "Take Me Home Country Road?"
