Riley was baptised on October 18 surrounded by lots of family. We were joined by Grandma and Grandpa McHugh; Nanna and II; Aunt Michelle & Uncle Mick (Riley's godparents), Courtney and Carley; Aunt Beth & Uncle Tony, Vaughn and Brock; and Uncle Gene & Aunt Patricia. Riley was a quiet little lady and held back tears (although one more handful of water on her head may have resulted in a loud shrill). She looked beautiful in the gown that Nanna made. It's the same one Luke wore 3 years earlier.
We came back to our house after church and all enjoyed brunch, especially Grandma Dort's caramel rolls!! The excitement of the day wore Riley out and she bowed out for an early nap. She slept so long, we didn't have a chance to take more pictures before everyone left... perhaps that was her strategy?
