Luke participated in swimming lessons through Burnsville Community Ed. this past month. Every Tuesday and Thursday, he and Daddy would jump into the pool and practice swimming. He was hesitant to get his face wet, but Daddy was an expert at getting Luke to play games with him. There were lots of little tricks to teach the basics of swimming. He liked chasing the rubber ducky, swimming on the fish mat, talking to the fish and listening to the fish, and ring around the rosie. His favorite activity was pushing Daddy's head underwater.
Nanna was able to watch lessons when she visited a couple weeks ago and Grandma and Grandpa came to Luke's last lesson on Thursday. He made nice progress during the month and graduated to "small fry" when it was all said and done!
