Riley update... Day 5 in the harness

The "old Riley" is back!  She's adjusting well to life in a harness.  She is given a "pass" from her contraption only when we're changing her diaper or bathing her.  The minute her good leg is free from it's confines, she stretches and kicks it for all it's worth.  I've been trying to massage it during diaper changes, too... the less physical therapy we have to do after her 4-weeks is up, the better.  She still protects her injured leg, but I've noticed that she's moving it a little bit without pain while laying on the changing table.  If she thinks she'll get time off for good behavior, she's got another thing coming.  We're keeping her hooked up until we know she's completely healed.

Aside from her rehabilitation, Riley has also discovered a love of pears!  Right now, nothing would make her happier than a bottomless bowl of pureed pears and rice cereal.  She's a chow hound!
