I was sitting in the bathroom last night during Luke's bath (actually, I was working on a sudoku puzzle while listening to Luke engage in pretend play with his bath toys.). Suddenly, Luke looked up with a surprised look on his face and exclaimed,
"(excitedly) OH! I thought you were a monster... (disappointedly) but, you are just my mommy." This was followed by a "huh, huh" and a wacky little smile.
Given the option, I'd rather be "just the mommy". :)
