Luke has been asking to take swimming lessons again, so we signed him up for round 2. This time, he's a "small fry" and in the pool alone with the instructor. He expressed early concern not swimming with Daddy by his side, but quickly changed his tune when presented with the option of not participating at all.
He had 2 lessons last week. The first night he came home and excitedly told me he put his face in the water and his ear in the water, accomplishments that eluded him during his first set of lessons. The second day, he bounded through the door and shared that he put his WHOLE head under water and now knew how to move his arms. In his mind, he now qualifies as a swimmer. :)
