It was a fantastic news day! The trip to the mailbox produced a letter and a package addressed just for Luke. The letter was actually a Christmas card from Cousin Vaughn. Inside was a handsome picture of Vaughn with Santa Claus (Aunt Beth has taught us all a lesson. The best Santa pictures are taken by mid-November so Santa is still looking fresh!). In addition, Vaughn informed Luke that Santa isn't scary and instructed Luke to "smile BIG" for his photo with the big guy. :)
Secondly, Luke received a thank you card and gift from his friend, Libby. Skull and crossbones pajamas are totally cool... Luke will never want to get dressed in the morning! No doubt there will be a photo or two of him modeling his sleepwear in future posts.
Luke's mail was a highlight for Mommy and Daddy, too! It is sure a lot more exciting than getting bills or credit card applications. :)
