Tonight was another family first! We all went shopping for a Christmas tree. It seems ironic that while I was vacuuming just a couple weeks ago, I found a stray evergreen needle from last year's tree under the rug. Now, we're introducing a whole new batch of needles!
Luke had a good time "spying" on other tree buyers through the trees. Despite the fact that it was 10 degrees, Luke was full of energy. At one point he left us and followed one of the workers back to the baler. We could have had Luke bound up in plastic netting for only $1, but in the end decided against it. :)
At the moment the tree's branches are "relaxing". Tomorrow's forecast includes 6-8" of snow and sleet... sounds like the perfect day to pop in some Christmas music and decorate the tree. We hope we'll have lots of visitors stop by to enjoy the sights and smells of Christmas with us! Can we count on you?
BTW, Sara- If you're reading this, CALL DAN! We want to discuss hosting Christmas Eve in Savage. :)

It's a good thing you got a van - looks as though Luke did a good job of selecting the right tree to ride on top - a Griswald special. We are eager to see it decorated.
I'm sure Luke will be a big help with his pleasure of "bringing things to Mommy and Daddy."
