We were FINALLY able to get outside and enjoy some nice weather on Saturday! Daddy strapped on Luke's skis and he walked around the driveway. Impressively, he walked without assistance (except on the slick ice) and didn't fall. Dan said, "He's walking in these skis better than some of my students do!" I'm sure the comment was made strictly from an instructor's perspective... no daddy bias at all!
Luke didn't want to come inside (of course!) so we went for a quick stroller ride, then tempted him inside with "snack time". He reqested a "cookie"... one of the date filled cookies that Grandma Dort sent home with Luke. :)

Hi Luke,
Wow! You look very comfortable on those skis. Do you think we will still have snow when you come to visit? We could go down in the park and ski, but with the playground being more familiar territory...that may be more attractive to you. Either way, you'd be getting fresh air and exercise which you LOVE!
