The word "why" flows like the River Nile from Luke's mouth. Dan's game is to see how many times he can answer Luke's "why" questions before Luke wears down. I simply count. Today on the way home from school (a 4-minute drive, 1.5 miles) Luke asked "why" 19 times. Typically when I run out of answers, I respond, "That's just the way it is." It kept him quiet for a few weeks until he realized that he could use that phrase too.
Example:Daddy: "Luke, why did you throw your car?"
Luke: "I don't know... That's just the way it is." ... smile

After that, what's one to say? Ask God, He knows everything!
I'm sure Luke wouldn't stop with that either. He's storing all your wisdom for just the right time.
