We took Riley to the doctor today! She's growing right on track. Her stats are:
Weight- 17 lbs. 14 oz. (75-90%)
Length- 26 1/2 inches (75-90%)
Head- 17 12 inches (90-95%)
Dr. Morkeberg thought she looked really good. He didn't have any big concerns about her head or face, but suggested we take her back in for another opinion if we were concerned. The biggest news is that while we were waiting for the "shot nurse" to come, we discovered Riley had cut her first tooth! Bottom left front! She couldn't have cut it any more than 2 hours before because we have been checking it. Ahhh... an explanation for why she's been so cranky this week! The bottom right front tooth is close on its heels.
So, here's what Riley has had to deal with today... cutting teeth, 4 shots and a pesky cold. I guess it's understandable that she'd be just a little on edge. Thank goodness Luke is around to make her smile... Mommy and Daddy haven't been able to do the trick!
