Mommy's playhouse

We've had quite a week at "Mommy's playhouse". Our learning goals included:

Personal hygiene (shower/bath, brushing teeth, changing diapers)
Academic learning (peek-a-boo, letters, writing, counting and adding)
Social learning (manners, helping Mommy)
Physical fitness (bouncing, running, batting, balloon hitting)
Retail therapy (3 trips to Target, returns at the mall, bargain hunting at JoAnn Etc.)
Arts and Crafts (drawing, painting, decorating for NYE)
Laugh practice (lots and lots of funny comments to make Mommy laugh!)

If you think Mommy is ready to open a daycare, think again!! :) Luke and Riley have been great, but I think we're all ready for Nikki, Sofia and Camilla to return so we can get back into the routine of "real" school!

Looks like a fun time...never a dull moment I'm sure. I like Luke's painting...so you have an artist's wall?

II thinks a proper curriculum needs to also include: 1) family history, 2)career options, 3)economics, 4)agriculture (including food production, harvesting & preparation).

Oh, II, both Luke and Riley have passed their CLEP exams in Intro to Animal Science, Meat Animal Production and Beef Industry and Production Systems. Must be genetic.

And... economics is covered at Target (last night we bought Lukie's favorite shoes at 75% off!). They passed their EXPLORE test and are suited for any career they choose. We thought we'd bring in a guest professor to cover family history (You!) since you're so full of stories. Luke is also attending Mommy's culinary school after regular school hours.

I think that covers everything!

II now has his own address so not to confuse with Nanna.
