Luke started Sunday out with a pancake breakfast. We've just recently started giving him a little dab of syrup to sweeten his cakes. As breakfast wore on and the novelty of dunking pieces of pancake in the syrup wore off, Luke decided that dunking his forehead in the syrup was much more entertaining. You can see the results of his handiwork in the photo. The movie was taken of him crying after Mommy put a halt to his syrup shenanigans. I know this video will probably pull at the heart strings of the grandmas, but that's just a testament to his acting ability. He can be such a faker!

Mommy! Where's your compassion? You are right, it pulled at my heartstrings...he didn't feel well remember? He probably figured out that a little syrup on his face and in his hair would get him into the shower sooner...isn't that his favorite place to be? He's got it figured out. Next time don't rain on his parade. He likes to experiment, he's a scientist you know. He needs some comfort when his feelings get hurt, too bad Nanna wasn't there. I don't like to hear his hoarse little cry, okay? He's not a "drama king" in my book.
