We enjoyed a beautiful Saturday! Minnesota received its first "major" snowfall of the season (nothing that would have closed school for the day, but enough to make everything white). Luke enjoyed trying to catch the snow as it was falling.
After a while, Luke came into the front room to check on my tree decorating progress. He appeared unimpressed with what I had accomplished despite the fact that I had to make a run to Target to buy MORE lights to cover the 9' tree! After assessing the materials he had to work with, Luke surprised us with his decorating ability. Take a look at his handiwork*!
*While Luke may not have actually placed the lights and ornaments on the tree, his joyful spirit motivated the actual decorators.)

What a lovely Christmas tree - both before and after Luke's magic touch! Will he help water it every day too?
We'll expect him to do the same magic in making a snowman with all the snow. Daddy can probably help make it really tall. Does he have a sled yet?
