Luke is smitten with our next door neighbor, Phoebe. Her older brother, Logan, is the authority when it comes to all things boy or all things sports, but Phoebe is the one who has really caught Luke's eye. When Phoebe's not outside he says, "Phoebe go night night?" (A direct result of a little white lie I told Luke last week in order to get him off his bike and into bed.) This afternoon, he spied Logan and Pheobe in the backyard and insisted on going outside to see them. He showed off for the big kids by swinging on the "big boy" swing and going down the slide and was upset when Mom made him go inside because dinner was burning on the stove. (Sidenote: We've been really trying to eliminate snacks or milk before dinner in order to make Luke hungry enough to eat what we're eating. IT'S WORKING! Tonight he ate almost an entire sloppy joe, one slice of fried zucchini, and 30 blueberries!) After dinner Luke went swimming with Daddy at Lifetime. Upon their return, Phoebe and her mom stopped over for a quick hello and about 18 "goodbye" hugs. Don't you think they make a cute couple? :)

They are adorable! Glad that Luke is enjoying "real" food. You are very perceptive Mommy.
