Sealed with a Kiss!

Monday was Funday for us! We were up early, took a walk, ate some Cheerios and packed our bags for a day on the road. First stop was to see Renee, Aly, Billy and Katy. It seems like forever since we've seen each other. We took a nice long walk around the lake and analyzed lily pads and the swim patterns of minnows. The nature adventure was only interrupted by Luke's attempts to squelch a poo poo (which is a nature adventure in and of its self).

Next, we drove to visit Tanya, Libby and baby Roman. Tanya has got everything under control... Roman is a happy, hairy boy and Libby is the cutest big sister ever. Luke and Libby get along famously. I had to laugh at the way Luke opened Libby's closet and examined her beautiful clothes. I imagine it's similar to the way Brian looks when he wanders into Tanya's closet? No tears when it was time to leave, just kisses... lots of kisses. Luke was a trooper today with only a 30 minute nap. By the time we arrived home, he was as dead as a log. He only woke up long enough to enjoy a diaper change and say his prayers.

What a wonderful social day. I can only imagine the excitement with new playmates and new toys. Tanya was so petite before Roman was born, it must have been all baby. I'm glad you got a picture of him and his dark hair.
Special to see Renee's children too. You're squeezing all you can into this last week before you begin teaching on Monday aren't you? See you in a couple of days.
Love,
Mom
