I dropped Luke off at school this morning and when I returned this afternoon, he had a giant tarantula on his arm! Bob the Builder came to visit school and left a few pet spiders behind. Knowing Mommy's dislike for arachnids, we wished him a nice "bye bye, spider" tonight in the shower.
Luke's transition back to school has been okay. On the first day, he cried for nearly 2 1/2 hours and wouldn't even eat breakfast. Once he made a trip outside, however, he was back to his happy self and played with his friends. Today he only cried for 30 minutes and ate a hearty breakfast. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a tear free day. By the way, Mommy only cried for 90 minutes on Monday and 15 minutes today. Going back to work is hard! :)
