We were guests of Aunt Beth, Uncle Tony, and Vaughn on the 4th of July! It was so much fun! Daddy played with Luke, Vaughn and Vaughn's cousin, Campbell, while the rest of the adults visited on the deck. The kids were having so much fun. I'm always impressed with how great Dan is with kids. He hasn't met one who doesn't love him within 5 minutes. Perhaps it has something to do with his ability to flip them upside down.
Mommy and Luke left Daddy on the boat and went to the airport to pick up Kim. We left for Fargo straight from the airport. Luke missed his afternoon nap on the boat, so you'd think he'd be tired... unfortunately, he had a hard time sleeping with the sunset shining in his eyes. When we got to Moorhead, we saw 2 spectacular fireworks shows. The first is the annual display held at MSU. It was quite impressive! The second show occurred in Luke's diaper. Luckily we were really close to Nanna and Grandpa's house, so Aunt Kim didn't have to help change a diaper. It took 2 people, a thorough bath, and hosing down the car seat but finally Luke was clean and ready for bed. So was Mommy. :)
