This afternoon Dan's cousin, Patrick, called and invited us over for a little BBQ! We were thrilled to go as we have not seen them since they recently bought a new home. Despite being in the house for less than 2 months, Patrick and Laura have created such an inviting, comfortable home! Their daughter, Maggie, has transitioned well too. She is so adorable and a wonderful hostess. Those in attendance each received a flower from the garden, a special ballet recital, and, if you were quick enough to catch them, any number of plastic food toys that Maggie launched into the air. :) Luke was the luckiest guest as he got to play with Maggie and all of her fantastic toys. She even shared her baby doll with him (he was channeling his softer side).
It was great to see everyone and catch up. I was pleased to hear that the blog gets checked from time to time! In spite of the miles that separate our family, we really want you to know Luke. This blog is our way of sharing him with you when we can't be together!
