Birthday celebration day #2 started with waffles! The afternoon was spend on Aunt Beth & Uncle Tony's boat in Lake Minnetonka. Vaughn was such a nice cousin and thoughtful host to Luke. Luke played "Godzilla" with Vaughn's train set and chewed on several of his toys... Vaughn graciously served Luke food and drinks and shared all of his toys. It's obvious Beth and Tony do a lot of entertaining and Vaughn has quickly picked up on proper etiquette.
Luke's outfit was extremely appropriate for his day on the boat. It was a gift from his Aunt Kim and came all the way from Hawaii! He loved the silky, non-confining fabric. Now that he's one, he can face forward in his car seat. Daddy and I had to wonder if he's been sucking on his toes for a long time or if this new position allowed him more room to stretch his toes to his mouth. Either way, Kim's outfit made it easy for him to pull that leg up!
