Well, Luke's birthday ended on a high note. We didn't make it to the horse races thanks to Luke's 2 hour nap, but Grandpa, Nanna, Daddy, and Mommy enjoyed watching the Twins win on tv. It was reminiscent of the same time last year when Mommy and Daddy spent hours watching the Twins in between feeding Luke and watching him sleep.
The cake was a big success. Nanna made an angel food cake (Daddy's favorite) and we frosted it with strawberry Cool Whip. Luke loved the Cool Whip and wasn't so sure about the cake. As with most things he doesn't find an immediate need for, the cake ended up at the base of the high chair. (Luckily we had the foresight to move the eating festivities outdoors!)
With 2 cameras and 1 video camera, we managed to snap 330 pictures and shoot about 30 minutes of video within 1 hour. Needless to say, if you want to see more pictures, just email. :)
