This afternoon we were guests of Michael, Jane, Adam and Brie. We had a wonderful time! It was a Thumpin' Melons mini-reunion. Jane and Mike outdid themselves (like always). We ate and drank like kings and queens, swam in the fantastic pool, and played volleyball on a perfectly manicured lawn. I wouldn't be opposed to making it a weekly event! :) Tanya, Brian, and Libby were the guests of honor as they traveled the farthest to attend the party. Lori, Curtis, Chip, Cindy, Megan, and Wolff made the party complete.
After dining on yogurt and taking a dip in the pool, Luke needed another nap. After a solid 10 minutes of crying/screaming, he finally settled down to rest. He woke up in time to cheer on the Melons during a rousing grass 3s match in which there was an abundance of trash talking (hmmm... not a lot has changed with those guys!). When Luke wasn't cheering, he was flirting with Libby and hand mowing the lush lawn!
It was great to see everyone again! Although we've all experienced changes in our lives, coming back together felt just like old times. I hope we can all get together again in the near future!
